+ - What is a medical spa?

One of the FAQS at Green Relief Health is what is the difference between a medical spa and day spa. Medical spas, also known as medspa, medi-spas, medical spa, blend the best of two worlds — a relaxing spa experience with the procedures and expertise found at a doctor’s office. A provider oversees the medical spa and is in charge of procedures that fall under the medical realm.

+ - What is the difference between a day spa and medical spa?

Medical aesthetic treatments go far beyond the mud baths, fruit peels and therapeutic massages found at most day spas. Treatments at many medical spas are more intense and offer much more noticeable results.

Aesthetic medicine includes all procedures in the field of aesthetics except surgical procedures requiring an operating table and general anesthesia. Aesthetic procedures include dermal fillers such as Botox, Juvederm and Restalyne, permanent hair reduction, acne treatments and many more.

+ - What are the medical spa's policies?

We ask that you consider our policies not as restrictions but as indispensable rules, which allow us to provide high standards of service. With regard to appointment cancellation fees, these are unfortunately necessary due to unavoidable expenses and valuable time allocated to clients and patients when they make the appointments.

+ - How to make an appointment?

To make an appointment; please contact us directly by calling 410-368-0420 or by clicking here to book. Upon scheduling your appointment, patients will be asked to use a credit card to guarantee the appointment. You will not be charged a fee for your consultation. The $50 fee will be applied to your desired service.

We also recommend that you schedule future appointments in advance to ensure your preferred time is available as nights and Saturdays are the most requested times.

All booked appointments will be confirmed by our staff via a telephone call reminder and text and email reminders before your appointment. Please provide us with a valid email address. Scheduling an appointment is your acceptance of these policies.

+ - When should I arrive?

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to prepare for your treatment. As we are a medical spa, we require new patients to fill out a brief medical history information and consent form.

If you are scheduled for dermal fillers or special peels we recommend you arriving 15 minutes prior to your appointment time so that we can properly prepare you skin for the treatment.

+ - Is there anything I should do prior to my appointment?

We suggest that all patients receiving any of our facial treatments and consultations to arrive without make up if possible. Read pre and post procedure guidelines.

+ - What if I'm late for my appointment?

Our scheduling is designed to permit the correct amount of time to complete your service. A late arrival will deprive you of precious treatment time. In fairness to others, your treatment must end on time so the next patient’s session can begin on time. If you are not able to be on time we will do our best to complete as much of your treatment as possible. With some treatments, it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment.

+ - What is the Cancellation Policy?

In order to be respectful of the medical needs of other patients, please be courteous and call Green Relief Health promptly (24 hours) in advance if you are unable to show up for an appointment. This time will be reallocated to someone who is in need of treatment. If it is necessary to cancel or reschedule your scheduled appointment, we require that you call at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will give another patient the possibility to have access to timely medical care.

For this reason, we will need to keep a credit card on file in the event that you do not adhere to our cancellation policy.

+ - How do I get rid of fine lines and wrinkles?

We have a wide range of various solutions to treat the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles including injectables, lasers and skin treatments. We customize treatments that are best suited to you to give you the best results.

+ - What is the best treatment for aging skin?

This answer may be different for each individual. Typically, a good skin care regimen is the first step. Hydrafacials, microneedling, laser treatments, and injectables all play a unique role in reversing facial aging. We will customize an individual plan for each patient based on your needs!

+ - How long do chemical peels last?

Depending on the depth of the peel, your face may have some flaking or shedding for 1 week after your peel. Once this happens the newly refreshed layer of skin will reveal itself causing you to glow! Each person is different, but the results from a peel can usually brighten your face for a few months.

+ - What does lip filler do?

Lip filler is a synthetic form of Hyaluronic Acid. HA is a molecule that pulls water towards itself. Using this, we are able to plump and shape the lips.
